The titleThe drafting of this work arises from the author's conviction that "old music" contains pedagogic-stylistic elements that are essential in the training of young instrumentalists and, therefore, young bands. But the composition, structured in 4 contrasting movements, is also suitable for being performed by any band, in virtue of an instrumentation that can encompass various options.
